About the Blog

The purpose of this blog is three-fold:

  • First, the blog will present information and happenings related the ongoing study by Dr. Ataharul Chowdhury and Dr. Helen Hambly Odame concerning social media use and innovation systems in the agriculture and rural sector. Progress updates, summaries of published papers and information regarding interviews concerning the study will be included on this blog.
  • Second, the blog will present perspectives and insights on social media use by various stakeholders in the agricultural and rural sector. This will be presented in the form of summaries of news articles, informal interviews and agriculture-related events.

  • Third, the blog will include information concerning the researchers of the study, Dr. Ataharul Chowdhury and Dr. Helen Hambly Odame.
